Aimee is a Certified Veterinary Technician with a lifelong passion for animal care. She holds dual associate degrees—an Associate of Applied Science from Vermont Technical College (2005) and an Associate of Liberal Arts from the Community College of Vermont. With a strong foundation in both science and the humanities, Aimee brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to her work as manager.

Her love for animals has been a guiding force throughout her career, and she’s dedicated to providing the highest level of care to every client and their pet. Outside of work, Aimee enjoys spending time with her husband and their three active boys, balancing mom duties with a busy schedule of sports and family life. At home, she’s also a proud cat mom to Moose and Lulu.

Karen
Karen was born and raised in New Jersey, but moved to Vermont in 2016. She graduated from Penn State in 2012 with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and then Montclair State in 2014 with a M.S. in Biology with a focus in anatomy and physiology.
She has been working with animals since 2007 and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon! Her other passions include hiking, biking, baking, drawing and spending the day with her dogs, Sam and Baker.

Christy
Christy has been working as a veterinary technician since 2008. She moved to Vermont recently from Massachusetts, joining WVH in 2021. She has an animal science degree from Cornell University.

Prior to her career in veterinary medicine, Christy spent over 7 years as a zookeeper in Rhode Island and Rochester, NY. She enjoys all animals large and small but at the top of her list are black labs; they hold a special place in her heart.
When not at work, Christy enjoys walks with her family, hikes, re-intro into skiing and anything crafty with her daughter. Christy, her husband, Mike, and daughter, Maggie, are loving all that Vermont life has to offer. They share their home with their cat, Dilly Bean.

Maddie is from Massachusetts, and graduated from UVM in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Animal Science. She currently resides in Jericho with her boyfriend and cat, Josie and pup Berry

In her free time she enjoys skiing, reading, hiking, true crime podcasts, and enjoying the natural beauty of Vermont.

Serena
Serena has been working as a veterinary technician for 4 years; before that she spent 5 years working with dogs as a trainer.
As a technician Serena enjoys working with the difficult cases and enjoys educating the clients she works with.

She is a Waterbury native who is active in the professional disc golf scene. She has been with her husband for 14 years and they share 2 dogs and 1 cat as part of their furry family.

Hillary, CVT
Hillary graduated from Vermont Technical College with an Associates Degree in applied science of Veterinary Technology
in 2015, and passed the national exam that same year, becoming a Certified Vet Tech (CVT.)
She lives in the Northeast Kingdom with an assortment of animals, but always has a soft spot for cats.

When not at work she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking and spending time with friends and family.

Megan has been a certified veterinary technician since 2016. She worked in Chittenden county for many years before moving to the area last year. She is fear free certified and passionate about all things CAT! In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts and hanging out in nature. She lives with her husband, 2 kitties and 1 kid.

Tammy
Tammy is from upstate NY and moved to VT when she was 12. She is currently attending VTSU to become a certified vet tech. She started at Waterbury Vet as an intern and loved it so much she stayed. She has 2 cats, Lacey and Simba. She love cows and has worked on many dairy farms. Tammy's hobbies include hiking, baking, crocheting, reading, and listening to music and true crime.

Relief Technician
Chris, CVT
Chris grew up in Bedford, NH, and then moved to Vermont to attend Johnson State College. He graduated in 2011 with a BS in Biology, than attended Vermont Technical College (VTC) in their veterinary technician program. Chris came to Waterbury Vet as an intern during his final year at VTC, but he fit in so well with the doctors and staff that he was asked to stay. Before the start of his career at Waterbury Vet, Chris worked at Central Vermont Humane Society as an adoption counselor.
Chris lives in Waterbury with his fabulous wife Rachael and two kiddos, along with their pup
